According to Interpol, Indonesia has adopted a national DNA database legislation and set up a DNA database that contained 11,000 reference DNA profiles from individuals, 6,000 crime scene DNA profiles, 250 missing persons' DNA profiles, 180 unidentified human remains DNA profiles, plus 400 other DNA profiles in 2011.
