According to Interpol's 2008 survey, Belarus set up a DNA database in 2006 and is planning to implement specific DNA database legislation. According to Interpol, Belarus' DNA database contained 63,900 reference DNA profiles from individuals, 10,207 crime scene DNA profiles, 838 unidentified human remains DNA profiles and 8,435 other DNA profiles in 2011.
