Several bills to create a DNA database in the Philippines have been introduced in the Senate but not progressed. According to Interpol, the Philippines held 1,083 reference DNA profiles from individuals, 2,875 crime scene DNA profiles, 6 missing persons' DNA profiles, plus 77 unidentified human remains DNA profiles in 2011.
