According to INTERPOL, Lebanon is actively working to implement a National DNA database.<ref name="ftn1"> Personal communication with INTERPOL DNA Working Group. </ref> Nevertheless, no significant evidence of their activities has been found to date.

According to Interpol, Lebanon has implemented a national DNA database that contained 1,100 reference DNA profiles from individuals, 6,000 crime scene DNA profiles plus 135 unidentified human remains DNA profiles in 2011.
