According to Interpol, Iran's DNA database contained 3,000 reference DNA profiles from individuals, 3,500 crime scene DNA profiles, 2,000 missing person DNA profiles plus 1,500 unidentified human remains DNA profiles in 2011 and has adopted a DNA database legislation at the time.
